2004 kia amanti: Kia’s Maiden Sedan
The 2004 Amanti was first ever sedan from the house of Kia, and it had the same engine as that of Hyundai’s XG350. However, the design architecture was the major difference and 2004 Kia Amanti had 4-inch-longer body and 2-inch-longer wheelbase.
Features of 2004 Amanti
It was featured with V6 engine mated with 5-speed auto transmission with unique manual shift gate. Head-protecting curtain side airbags, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, dual-zone climate control, front and rear side airbags, CD/cassette audio, power front seats and keyless entry were standard features of the vehicle, while there were several optional features provided in different trims. These included leather upholstery, in-dash CD changer, antiskid/traction control, heated front seats, driver-seat memory system and few other minor upgrades
Pros and Cons
The 2004 Kia Amanti was also offered with 5-years/50,000-mi. basic warranty coverage, along with 10/100,000 power train and 5/unlimited roadside assistance just like other Hyundai vehicles.
Amongst the top pros, the driving experience and quietness of the vehicle are the major ones, while the awkward steering feel was one of its biggest downsides.
As a whole, the 2004 Amanti was an excellent sedan, which rendered satisfactory performance, and was offered with ample safety features too.
